I'm using Turbo Tax to do my taxes. Does anyone have a promotional code for the cost? 1/27/2006 6:43:20 PM |

I know this doesnt answer your question, but I was working on my taxes on TurboTax today and they charge $10 for fed and $30 for state, I found a website, I think its called Taxslayer or something, where its just $10 for fed free for state, which is a lot cheaper (of course this is for 1040 EZ) 1/27/2006 8:27:51 PM |

Cheapest I've found is http://www.average1040.com/. $5.62 for federal (FREE if you're under $50k for AGI), $0.00 for state (if you're in AZ, GA, MI, or NC).

Just go to the IRS website and follow the links for filing free. If you follow this link you can use turbotax for free, provided you make less than a certain amount. State still costs 20 dollars but you can just print those out and send them in to avoid that. 1/28/2006 8:08:00 PM |
