as to why my moped scooter would just shut off after hitting about 25mph? Thanks

I'm about to takeit in and i dont want them to give me some more bullshit

(because i just took it in and got it fixed TODAY for what I thought would be the answer to the problem - Exhaust pipe broke off - I thought fixing that would fix the problem)

it has a rev limiter that governs it at 25, cheap ones just cut the spark completely and it may be flooding out, i would just try a new plug first, a fouled one can easily get wet with fuel and cause the engine to die
