I'm not the biggest fan of women's sports in general, but most women's collegiate and national athletes normally play the game like less athletic men. Good examples being women's tennis and soccer...it's basically the same game as the men just with a little less speed and a little less power. You still see great placement and great skill.

Women's basketball is just fucking horrible. You see more missed layups than a midde school church league game. These girls are fully developed physically and half of them still can't shoot a normal jump shot. Bitches are still shooting stand still set shots...what the fuck??

^^its very physical. women can guard almost as well but they are much shorter so of course they will miss more layups. every year in the all star game the men and women 3 pt champ face off and alot of times the girl wins.

Seriously...if you make the 2 free throws then foul on purpose, you've still got like 3 seconds to go the length of the court and hit a three?? How exactly is a timeout going to help in that situation?? I can see maybe throwing a full/half court pass and then taking a time out and being able to inbound the ball closer to the basket. But come on...this is women's basketball, the options are limited.

And they basically shoot stand-still set shots where they might jump 2 inches off the floor. That style of shot is an advantage in contests like that where it's all about consistency and getting in a groove. It's easier to mess up when you're shooting jump shots. Men can't shoot like that in a game...women can because the defenders are slow and can't jump so they don't have to elevate on their jump shots.

^i wasnt talking about that timeout. im talking about the timeout after the miss and foul with3 seconds left. unc is going to the line 1 and 1 with 3.8 left and up 2. if you use that last timeout your only chance is to get the rebound and get down to shoot in 3.8(impossible) it didnt matter anyway because she made both fts.

I don't hate on the women who play basketball. Good for them for doing it.

I just don't want it shoved down my throat. I don't like the sport. I've tried to watch it, and it's horrible. And yet every sports network keeps trying to force it on us (college because it's cheap for them, and because the NBA forces the WNBA on the networks).

I did catch a couple of minutes of the post-game interviews last night while I was flipping channels, though...did anyone else think the Carolina coach & players sounded incredibly un-gracious about the win? They seemed pretty arrogant.

There are several high-major teams that play with both talent and good technique. You can also watch plenty of mid-majors that play with great technique.
