Well I accidentally did something stupid and managed a quick format on a HD that had my backup data on.
I need to recover the data......

Can anyone here do it? Cause otherwise I am facing an expensive software buy.

^yeah good call didn't search yet....freakin shit this was only supposed to have taken an hour....now it looks like it will a day hopefully.


Found that quagmire02 does it from a previous thread.....but can't get intouch with him....anyone else who can do it?

Actually found Undelete and it was not too expensive......how did it do?

undelete handles at least quick-formats wonderfully, i used it for that purpose recently. i'm sure it can handle full formats too.
