Did you guys see on Gamenight last night where Hubert Davis and the other tools on there were talking about GW's comeback from 17 down? They all kept saying that the 17 pt deficit was the biggest they had faced all year. I was like "WTF!?!?". Of course the UNC alum Davis made no mention either that we kicked their ass, he just kept saying that they've won 17 of their first 18 so they are amazing, blah, blah.

I hope they go undefeated for the rest of the regular season, win the A-10 tourny (assuming they have one - I don't really care), and then get like a 2 or 3 seed. That performance combined with our 21 pt spanking of them would make the tournament committee more likely to give us a 2 or 3 seed as well. Obviously we need to keep winning as well...

^Why not. 2 Years ago we got a 3 seed when we finished 2nd in the ACC. We have more OOC quality wins this year. And are ranked higher.

the selection committee almost always gives the 2nd place team in the conference at least a 3 seed. The committee respects the ACC.

Hmmm yeah we could. We finish the season with 6 only losses, which is very possible and make it to the ACC Final, our overall record and top 25 ranking could merit a three. We win out, and make it to the ACC Final, then we're probably top 10 and could pull a 2 seed.

Why the fuck be so negative about it. Be optimistic about our team once in a while. So we had a shit game against SH and we've played some close games, it does not mean we're not a top 12 team. Every team plays close games. If GW is in the running for a 2 or a 3, then we should be as well.

It's not just respect (although there's some of that, considering the way we got into the tournament last year by having a good run in the ACC to end the season), it's also strength of the conference. The ACC is probably 3rd this year, behind the BE and the B10.

Yeah because they don't keep score until there is two minutes left. Our wins when we smashed BC, Miami, ND, GW, and Wake don't count because we controlled the second half and it didn't come down to the last possession.

Yeah we've lost three close games at the end (UNC, Duke, Iowa) and didn't make our FTs against UVA. But we hung on and won in other close games like Clemson, Alabama, and GT to go along with UVA. Dang we are the biggest choke artists EVER!!!

Wake up, the ACC is weak this year. Seton Hall beat the fucking shit out of us. Beating teams like Miami, Alabama and Wake doesn't prove anything. The true NC State team is the team that choked it away at Iowa. Put us in a situation where we have to win the game in the closing minutes, and we choke it away A LOT more times than not. It's Herb's specialty.

If you think State has a shot at the national title, you're living in a dream world. Yeah, yeah, yeah, 1983. Well, it's 2006 and our coach isn't Jimmy V, it's HERB FUCKING SENDEK. We're not winning a title.
