This little dog was abandoned by his owners in my neighborhood. They decided they didn't want him anymore so they just put him outside to fend for himself. I've only had him a few days, but he is a really good dog. I'd keep him but I have three of my own. Here are some details:

male
about 2 yrs old
not neutered (cryptorchid - he NEEDs to be neutered)
shi tzu, minature poodle mix? (it's a shit-poo) =)
about 15lbs
cream, light brown color (he's really dirty and matted so I'm taking him to work today to clean him up a lot)
house broken
don't have any medical records - vaccines?

do you live on brent road? we had been seeing a little dog wandering around there a couple days ago....we heard he was abandoned from some people up the street

tried to give hime some water but wouldnt come near us...hopefully this is the little guy you got!

Kd1bugg, you should consider spending some money to have him updated on vaccines & neuter him (sounds like you work at a vet & would get a discount anyways). Then you can charge a small adoption fee. This way you will know medically the little guy is all set but moreover it will ensure that any potential adopters are serious about providing a forever home. We do not want him to have to be rehomed again & again. Many people may jump at "Free Dog" but do not think of the expenses and amount of time that goes into owning an animal. Like ncsutiger said this is a popular breed and you do not want this guy making babies. If you cannot afford to neuter him mabye charge a refundable amount of money then adopter can be reimbursed after the dog is neutered. Good luck to him and it is very nice of you for taking him into your home!

Ok thanks for all the concerns but I don't need advice. I just want to find him a good home. I've adopted many animals out using the wolf web and I made some really good matches. Thanks but I'm just interested in people wanting to adopt him. He's nothing worth breeding. He is cryptorchis and has a huge underbite.

He has an amazing temperament! I don't know how he is around kids but I just took him to work and completely shaved him down. He hardly squirmed or showed any signs of aggression. He's good around my three dogs. One's 50lbs, one's 75lbs and one's 160, and he likes them all. he loves riding in the car and cuddling.

He's actually a very sweet dog, ugly or not. And remember I just shaved off ALL his hair. And I am no groomer! Once his hair starts to grow back and he gets a professonal groom, he'll look a lot better.
