after seeing that R51 go for like $500, i need to keep an eye out.
me dad can get better deals on new comps. plus lenovo took over their pc department. not sure if i can believe in them. i like to stick to real IBM for now.

hah, IBM thinkpads are/were one of the best out there. IMO that is. there was a reason they were so damned expensive.
lenovo is a chinese company. i mean, im not knocking them. but i would rather stick with the old shit that i know than spend $$ on this new stuff.

right now, yes, the thinkpads still have the name on it. the new ones that will come out will be compared to dell.

nope - thinkpad will always stay thinkpad - no plans to ever drop the name.
in addition to the good stuff, they're introducing a totally new line of economy-line, Best Buy junk so that they can compete with the Dells, Toshibas, etc., which IBM never did... 2/6/2006 12:53:03 PM |
