R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar= http://bfc.myway.com/search/de_srchlft.htm

This keeps coming up as "nasty" on my logfile, I am not sure what it is but every 1/2 an hour I do a hijackthis scan and this fucker is back

anybody know what it is? how bad it is? how to get rid of it?

my internet has been slow lately, my other computer on the same network is running much faster, and i think this thing is the problem!

any help would be appreciated!

try running hijack this in safe mode and removing it in there. Also, run other programs in safe mode like spybot search and destroy, and lavasoft adaware.

Run spybot and adaware. Do a search on TWW/Google ... somebody posted a website to copy/paste your hijack this log files to and it will further analyze them.
