just curious as to if any of ya'll have ever used one of these locking hitch pins that claim to eliminate the rattle and play that most hitches have? There is a good amount of play front to back, side to side and top to bottom on my hitch on my Explorer, and with towing the new boat it knocks the shit out of me. The ones I am looking at are made by Trimax, Valley Industries and Silent Hitch... anybody have any experience? or be able to offer any insight? 2/9/2006 10:57:07 PM |

I use a polybushed hitch for towing, and it makes a huge difference in shocks to the truck.

i've looked at that hitch with the poly bushings.. but damn 60 bucks for something I already have!
I need a locking pin so I'm thinking of just getting one with the anti-rattle on it, what's the return policy at northern if i use the thing and it doesn't work? 2/9/2006 11:14:29 PM |

you want it to move around some if you leave it in there all the time, if not, the mother fucker will be rusted in there so bad you'll be cutting it out with a torch 2/11/2006 6:08:40 PM |
