get somemore pics and there shouldn't be any problems. you can visually tell if the wheels are worth it or not. just know, it's like $40 per wheel to have them shipped. 2/11/2006 11:42:01 AM |

I bought my rims brand new (ADR Fuel, 17x7) from ebay from basically a wholesale type dealer. I saved a LOT of money, like hundreds of dollars. I think the wheels themselves were $300ish (with a Buy it Now) and the shipping was 120. Some websites wanted $600 for the wheels alone. A called some local stores and they wanted around that much too. 2/11/2006 12:06:40 PM |

I've bought two sets of rims on ebay. first set was 16" with tires. I think the shipping on that was like 80
just last month i bought some 17s without tires, brand new in boxes. shipping was 75
if you dont' want the tires, you can save some on shipping by having him remove the tires. fedex has cheaper shipping rates and it will be about 20 per wheel probably.
i shipped some 16" BMW wheels without tires via fedex. i strapped two together and the shipping was like $17 via ground. of course these are 20s and will definately be heavier, especially with tires, but shipping won't be that bad
you don't need boxes, just some large cardboard discs to go on either side of the rim. if you remove the tires, make the discs larger than the rim and fold over the edge to protect the edge of the rim. just make an X or * out of duct or packing tape and ship it off. 2/11/2006 12:40:39 PM |

if you ever have to ship rims, usually if you bundle two together, the shipping is about $15-20. save all the wheel boxes you have, or get some from a local shop that they throw out. they are really heavy cardboard and protect the rims well during shipping, definately worth hanging on to. 2/11/2006 12:59:26 PM |

shipping aint a problem as long as the guys interested in shipping. i have access to UPS at work, so I would just email him return labels at my companys expense. 2/11/2006 1:57:38 PM |
