Anyone went to see this one yet? worth watching/ not?

I saw it last night. Better than the 3rd one but not as good as the 1st.
The deaths were a trip.

naaaaaah no way in hell. the 2nd one has the cool highway crash/explosion scene. that one scene alone makes the movies worth watching. i will give it to the 3rd one tho in the "gory death" category. i even cringed a few times.

The pace isn't good. It takes way too long to get rolling, and when it does it goes too fast. The coaster accident takes way to long to build-up and isn't really satisfying like the highway crash in 2. After that there is more "plot" stuff, then the death scenes. As it progresses, the deaths happen quicker and quicker, and the transistions aren't very good.

The deaths aren't as over-the-top wacky and hilarious like in 2, but they are better than I remeber 1's. They seem to follow the same format of build cheesy suspense, a person dies and blood flies everywhere. 2 was good about tying more than one together, 3 is more linear.

The characters are really bland. They have the typical highschool stereotypes, but they are even worse than 1's. They pretty much die when you are really introduced to them, so they don't develop at all.

Overall, it's alright. I wasn't disappointed, but I wasn't impressed either. It was about what I expected: a half-step above B-movie. Catch a matinee or wait for it to come to Blue Ridge.

i loved part 2 i remember seeing it at blue ridge and actually laughing out loud at the deaths. i mean a kid being smahsed by a paine of glass so u can see all his insides... dont' get much more entertaining than that.

I was slightly amused....the endin just ruined the movie for me though.
