I have Direct Tv and got a new DVD recorder to go along with my current reciever and tv. The question is what is the best way to hook it up so that I can get stuff off of the DVR and get it onto the new DVD player?

s-video and stereo audio output of the direct tv into the input of the DVD Recorder.
