Dont fucking say "aye" if you're an idiot.

I'd like a list of users in this section that aren't toolbags and can discuss a game without saying:

"OMGTHOSEREFSRSOSTOOPID, ____ SHOULDHAVEWONANDIWONTACCEPTANYOTHEROPINION."

I can discuss sports without saying "OMF Fire Herb"

However, I'm not on the Herb bandwagon (Never have been).. he does some good and some bad...I don't want him fired.... but becuase I don't suck him off like some folks on here want me to I always get trolled by the sarcastic "OMF PACKBACKER WE SHOULD FIRE HERB RIGHT" people.

The worst posters on here are the ones that are extreme (in either direction). There are quite a few crazy sarcastic Herb apologists, and there are quite a few crazy Herb bashers... and they add absolutely nothing to any conversation aside from trying to stir shit up.

in person, im a very rational fan.

this board just breeds stupidity tho, and its contagious

there are definately better ones we could have right now in both sports. id like to see us win the acc or go to a bcs bowl before i die. i dont think either coach will ever get that for us, personally.

i love herb as a person, hes my kind of coach. no nonsense, no bs, doesnt lash out at critics. sometimes its like he falls asleep during games, however. amato strikes me as a jerk in real life and a hard headed person. come on now, he loses a game and then tells the media "well, michigan lost too!".

i think herb has a much better chance of getting us to the top in the acc, so im willing to let him stay until the first time he misses the ncaas. amato doesnt seem like he'll get us much higher than that one season a few years back when we won 9 1-A games. hes a mediocre coach, and we could have an exceptional coach in fb. there are plenty of them out there coaching at smaller schools right now (solich, mike price, dan hawkins till Coloroado got him, rick neuheisel (who should have never been fired), heck people love to throw around norm chows name, why not?) i think i hold higher standards for fb just b/c i grew up watching 2 teams that won consistently (Miami Dolphins and Alabama). eh, whatever.

I'm rational except with officiating, and temporary insanity for 10-20 minutes after boneheaded last second plays. And I give shitty players the benefit of the doubt for too long.

I also have irrationally low expectations before games so I dont become retarded after losses like most other people. I thought Gavin deserved a kick in the throat for about 10 minutes after we lost sunday, but I got over it pretty quickly.

I'm rational on all aspects of the game except officiating. I feel that refs have become too much of a distraction from the game. Not just in basketball, but in football as well.
