Yeah, thats a nice setup for the price. saltwater isn't cheap. Below is a breakdown of what I'd say most of the stuff is worth/cost. I'm broke, so I'm not going to be buying it though. If you decide you want to part it out, pm me so I know. The prices below are higher than what I'd pay, but, I seem to have ways to find things cheaply. (Found a place in Tampa FL that sells live rock, cured, for 3/lb and it just so happens I'll be there in March for a friends wedding)
Running Total Tank - $55 55 Stand/Camopy - $50+ 100 Llive Rock, $7/lb --> $420 520 Sump - $30+ 550 Fish $50+ 600 Lights $150 750 Snails/Crabs/Shrimp/Cuke $40 790
Corals 35-80 each depending on what they are.
Plus powerheads, protein skimmer, etc that isn't even listed. Put an add on craigslist, doubtful you'll find anyone on here with a grand to blow on a setup right now. There was a 30-40 gallon setup on here a few months ago that i wish i bought that was around $500. This setup is easily worth the grand. 2/15/2006 10:54:10 PM |
