baroness definitely isn't just raw thrash rock. the hhig/maiden comparison is definitely pretty right on. what a fucking killer band...especially live. the waste should be fun as always, and direct control is the IT band in punk/hardcore right now, and for good reason.http://www.myspace.com/streetsharsk are cool too...i guess.

that video is a ripper. i'm one of the few i know that actually likes the new album though. dave witte... incredible drummer, i'll give him that, but he's lacking something that brandon had. it rules that he's playing drums again (in gw), though. anyway, the waste still rule. just don't let their guitar player in your house while he's tripping.
