what could possibly glow red after dropping all your coolant while going 85 down 40, and still have the engine crank up fine afterwards? i think it was the exhaust manifold but i'm not an expert.

so tomorrow i'm having my coolant system repaired (replaced.) we'll see how things go.

in a rich situation the manifolds can glow red. As long as the engine did not overheat then the redness should have nothin to do w/ the coolant problem.
