i am not overly concerned about the ranking (I don't think we'll drop too much). Carolina beat us twice this year, i would say that warrants them being ranked above us.

It will just give us motivation to beat them if we play them again this year.

perhaps in a perfect world it shouldn't be, but these polls are voted on by people, so it invariably has some element of "team x beat team y so they should be ranked higher."
