well to be fair, i went from being a skeptical herb supporter who claimed that the players ultimately decide the outcome, to wanting to fire herb pretty much in about 3 hours this afternoon.

Packbacker has it right. You can accept 21-7. You can accept 5 straight NCAA's. You can accept top 4 in the ACC. But when you can't reach that next level because you've made the same mistakes year in and year out, at some point you have to look deeper than the players. I know we cant fire Herb, but seriously, how much longer can you accept our status in college basketball? Especially considering how proud our fanbase is. We have everything in place to be great, except getting over the hump, and I'm starting to think its coaching.

^I subscribe to the Premium ish over there (for what reason I don't know) and I really get sick of that 50 year old, "old school" mentality crap they spew. They have a thread over there about the "classlessness" of some of our fans...mostly the students. They act like they didn't go to school here acting a fool in Reynolds back in the day.
