So my phone is pocket PC 2002, running windows media player 9, but I was pokin' around online and saw some places selling software to convert DVDs for PSP. What's available for windows media, is it worth while, should I spend money or is there free stuff?

I just want to be able to watch invader zim episodes while at work!

I use vidomi for easy encoding.

http://www.vidomi.com/

It will do Xvid, Divx, WMV, whatever you want to convert the DVD to.

But first, you have to decrypt the DVD video using DVD decrypter

http://www.soft32.com/download_75586.html

to remove the encryption from the DVD...it then copies the unencrypted VOB files to your hard drive, and you use vidomi to encode them. I would suggest starting out by using a fast one-pass encode to make sure that whatever format you use actually works on your phone. There's no point in doing 10 hours of two-pass high quality DivX compression or something and then your phone not actually work.

If you have difficulties with Vidomi, feel free to PM me.
