"Media Treadmill Blackout On Key Issues Of Port Story
Sweetheart deals and government links swept under the rug

The mainstream media treadmill has re-employed its familiar tactic of moving attention away from the cornerstone smoking guns that make the port story important and those that would implicate former administration officials and the White House itself in criminal activities.

We are now learning that it is not 6, 12, 18 or 21, it is more than 21 port complexes that in American and 10 to 15 in Canada that are going to be handed over to Dubai Ports World. The majority of the major port systems in the United States and North America will be sold off.

Segments of the controlled left have tried to make the debate about racism. It doesn't matter which country is handed the ports, as the British already owned the ports to begin with. The supposed terrorism threat being used to try and block the deal is a red herring.

We should oppose the port deal simply because selling off key infrastructure is a threat to the sovereignty of the United States.

We should also oppose the deal because former Treasury Secretary Snow and the Bush administration have made millions of dollars personally and billions of dollars for their respective companies in these sales.

The individual named by the White House to run security for all major US ports under Maritime Administration, David Sanborn (pictured above), is the current number two man at Dubai Ports World and head of their European and Latin American operations.

So when Neo-Cons defend Bush by saying that UAE won't be running security at the ports involved in the deal, they are deliberately ignoring the fact that DP World's number two is already in charge of all major US ports by appointment of Bush.

The New York Daily News pointed out Snow's (pictured below) connection to the sweetheart deal in pointing out that Snow headed, "the federal panel that signed off on the $6.8 billion sale of an English company to government-owned Dubai Ports World - giving it control of Manhattan's cruise ship terminal and Newark's container port.

"Snow was chairman of the CSX rail firm that sold its own international port operations to DP World for $1.15 billion in 2004, the year after Snow left for President Bush's cabinet."

The deal has already violated federal law in its failure to undergo a 45 day review procedure. That alone should bring criminal charges of espionage for those involved who profited from breaking federal law.

These issues take precedence over national security issues. The UAE is a willing stooge in the manufactured war on terror. The media has once again artificially framed the debate and shifted attention away from the key factors in this story."

"Peter King Blames Rush Limbaugh for Port Support

New York Congressman Peter King, who sounded the alarm two weeks ago over the Bush administration's decision to permit the sale of several dozen U.S. port terminals to a Dubai company, blamed conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh on Monday for softening the firestorm of opposition to the deal.

Asked why some hard-line opponents of the Dubai deal seem to have changed their minds, King told WABC Radio host John Gambling:

"I am very disappointed in that. It almost seemed that once the administration started to counterattack, you had people like Rush Limbaugh and others who have just been - ah - I think [they] have gone into the tank, quite frankly."

Limbaugh adopted a wait-and-see posture on the ports controversy early last week, saying that more information was needed. But by Friday he told his audience he was suspicious of the monolithic opposition.

"You remember the movie 'The Perfect Storm'?" he asked. "What do you suppose happens when 2006 politics and a liberal lust for power and longshoreman union power and Bush hatred and uninformed reporting and the GOP's fear of losing power all get tossed into a stew pot, and then you add in a dash of xenophobia and a touch of racism, and what do you get? Exactly what we had earlier this week: the perfect panic."

Still, despite their disagreement, Limbaugh never attacked King personally - a line crossed by the New York Republican with his Monday "into the tank" reference.

King complained that defenders of the ports transaction were trivializing the debate: "For them to ridicule or to trivialize the objections that we have - I mean, stand back for a second and look at this."

"What we're talking about, you know, turning over the operation of our ports to a company which is owned by the government which was cooperating with our enemy just a few years ago. And they're trying to ridicule and trivialize when you raise questions about that," he told Gambling.

The Long Island Republican, who has appeared with Sens. Schumer and Clinton in recent days to speak out in opposition to the ports deal, said he saw a growing split within the GOP over the ports controversy: "I think you're seeing something of a split here in the Republican Party between what I call the Reagan Democrats, you know, the ethnics from the cities and the suburbs, the middle-income working people - and the big-business wing of the party.""

it's pretty clear that limbaugh is just spreading more of the NWO's propganda. he is a pawn of the administration, placed by the government to manipulate the people of this country. it shouldn't surprise anyone that the NWO is encouraging this deal.

"Republican Congressman Predicts Bush Impeachment
Says US close to dictatorship

Paul Joseph Watson/Prison Planet.com | March 3 2006

Republican Congressman Ron Paul has gone on record with his prediction that the impeachment of George W. Bush is right around the corner but warned that in the meantime the US was slipping perilously close to a dictatorship.

Appearing on the Alex Jones Show and addressing the port sell-out, Paul stated that, "it probably will contribute to the Republican's failure in the next election."

Asked if the Democrats would use gains in the mid-term elections to set in motion impeachment proceedings against George W. Bush, Paul responded,

"I predict that would happen."

"I think he (Bush) has numerous things that the Democrats if they get a chance, not only will they be after him for that but it will be payback for the Clinton impeachment."

Paul was inclined to believe that the port sales would go ahead anyway but took a positive perspective in pointing out that it again highlighted George W. Bush's complete abandonment of conservative principles.

"At least this has awakened a lot of people and I think this is going to serve as a benefit," said Paul. "They're likely to pull this deal off but the American people are awakening now and I think there's going to be a payback period in the election."

The Congressman expressed his resignation at the passage of the Patriot Act and how it again underscores Bush's unchecked powers

"They had a few token changes which mean nothing and under the present system he (President Bush) just ignores what he doesn't like anyway."

Asked if the US was heading into a dictatorship, Paul responded,

"It's getting close to it, it's called usurpation of power and it's done in many ways with Congress just going along because they're sound asleep and this certainly is an attack on our Constitution and on our freedoms.""

I know this is a trap, but what facts am I attacking exactly?

I just assume that people are as serious on Alex Jones' show as they might be on The Daily Show - I wouldn't go around quoting a politician that was on The Daily Show.
