Even if the Herb Haters don't admit it, he is a very good coach come ACC tourney time so it is not at all outrageous to consider us beating UNC if we could get by Duke in the 3rd round.

Not a hater but hmm, blew a 15 point lead in the championship game in 03, blew a 20 point lead in the semi's against MD in 04.....I guess you could say it was good coaching that got us those leads..but still very suspect coaching and/or player complacency. His first ACC tounrey was his best and most impressive run with inferior talent compared to the teams over the last three years.

to reply to the original question, I'd say not in the next 5 years. Roy has the number 1 recruiting class next year and I just don't see us competing with their calibur of talent for a while
