Does the Avent Ferry DMV have the written part of the motorcycle test??
What do I need to take with me when taking the written exam?

its not "written"

its on a computer screen

most offices have a set day/timeslot that they will offer the riding test

you take the computer test first, they give you the probationary license, wihch you can drive almost every way on, just no passenger

at some point you take the riding test to get your real license

but they'll let you keep the probationary for 2 years, then you can just tell them you want it for 2 more

the test is MOSTLY common sense

but you can get the book (that has all the answers) in pdf form online or in paper form atthe dmv

You can do the written (computer) test at Avent Ferry. That's where I did mine.

I had an out of state mc license so they waived the road test.

thanks; just got my permit today. good for 18 months is fine with me. I got 3 questions wrong out of 23 so although i passed, i still was stumped a couple times.
