Contact a lesser known artist or entertainer who you respect or admire and send them an e-mail asking them to dinner or coffee. Then take them out to dinner and coffee and be all like "whoa" for the rest of your life.

HAH!

I didn't have an orgy, but I contacted and met http://esao.net and ended up meeting 2 other artists who I also highly respect.

(I'm from central new york anyway, so I'm already a bit of a yankee)

i need wide open non-urban/non-human-crowded green areas in my life on a daily basis

so naw, nyc is not for me as a residence

screw all that nature horse shit. there is something to be said for public transportation, plenty of shit within walking distance, & pretty much 24-7 alcohol sales.

I just went there for spring break. It's not too cold, and it didn't rain at all when I was there.

For Chinese, try Suzie's in the village (I want to say it's on Bleecker St.) and for Italian try Il Palazzo on Mulberry St. in Little Italy. Those place both had some of the best food I've ever had.

Times Square was really cheesy/touristy if you're into that.

Besides Central Park (a lot of it is guarded off because it's off-season and theyre re-seeding the lawns), try Washington Square Park or Battery City Park, both of those were cool.

If you want to see a play, they have student rush lotteries where you show your student ID and can buy really good seats around around $30.

I'm a nerd, but the NYC Public Library was cool...

^^^ Marko and I went for Spring Break too.

We went to Times Square, Metropolitian Museum of Art, and ChinaTown. The Virgin Megastore and ToysRUs in Times Square are a lot of fun if you have time to look around.
