My boyfriend is deathly allergic to her . I'm selling her, her cage, and her toys. She's finger trained, really sweet, and about 7 years old. She's a standard (pictures to come if there is any interest). She's never bitten, though if you piss her off she'll "beak you" which is just her mouth open and raming it into your finger, no chomping. She likes sitting on your shoulder and having her head scratched. If you let her, she'll go everwhere in the house with you. If she flies off or falls, you can call her name and she'll actually walk back to you, or chirp out so you can find her.

Will sell only to someone who will take care of her properly and love her. She's been my best friend for a long time and needs a really good home!

Will take best offer.

LOL, believe me, keeping the bird was a consideration...but I kinda guess after 2 years I gotta keep the b/f. She's extremly sweet. She'll hold the pages open of your books by perching on the top.

How can you part with such a sweet sounding bird?
I know cockatiels make a lot of dander, which is why you can keep your bird in a room that your boyfriend doesn't have to go into. Like an office -- definitely not your bedroom. Running an air filter is also incredibly helpful.

I would take the bird, but I already have 3 cockatiels, a quaker parrot, and a sun conure.

yeah, it's the feathers and the dander. I offered to buy a really good allergy reducer thing "Ionic Breeze" but he won't budge on this one.

It really sucks too. My dad got me her when I was a kid when my parakeet died.

I'd almost be willing to give her away for free if I knew for sure that Chichiri "chi" would have a permanant, loving home.

*lol*

if you ask if the bird is loud, you don't need a bird.

She's not a screamer, but she's DEFINATLY a chronic cheeper. She doesn't talk much around my parents or strangers, but she hears me or I'm around she won't shut up til I take her out and pay attention to her. Spoiled little brat.

I've had an offer of $50 so far, and though the money would be nice (it'll go to the I need to eat fund), I'm more interested in making sure she goes to someone who will keep her til she dies of old age, and in the mean time pays tons of attention to her and takes care of her.

If you still have her in may, give me a PM. I'm in a dorm until then.
I do hope you find a good home for her

I don't know if this is a myth, but I heard that a bird that is attached to someone like that will soon pass if given away.... You gonna take that chance?
