so I want to be able to organize a certain folder by date, ie date modified...but the folder is all music and the closest option I have to arrange files by is Year of Album...I want to change that folder (or all folders, doesnt matter) to the older version look where you can organize by Date Modified...essentially if I wanted to see the most recent 10 files in the folder I could just either click Date at the top or Arrange Icons by Date...help please

is this really beyond everyone? i didnt think it would be tough to change but i cant find the options

like I go to Start run and enter "C:\Audio\MP3"

it opens my MP3 folder

then I go to View...Details

then all the column headers are specific for sound files, ie Album Title, Track, Duration, etc

if I did the same thing but went to "C:\" i would have the option to organize by date modified

I want the folder setup like my "C:\" folder is

right click on the column headers and you can add new ones

can you go to View > Choose Details... and then pick date modified to add to the list of "arrange by" options?
