Hey guys. I am ready to put everything together, but I don't know if I need washers between the motherboard and chassis. Also, if I do where can I get them? Keep in mind that I'm in Wilmington, NC, not Raleigh. Can I get something that will work at Lowe's Hardware? 3/8/2006 4:11:59 PM |

The only thing you really need is the standoffs for the mobo. Some cases come with little paper washers, this is only for noise and vibration. 3/8/2006 4:22:07 PM |

i'd think it'd be bad to put a paper/rubber washer in there - the more grounding the better 3/8/2006 5:14:50 PM |

I think plastic standoffs may have come with the case, but I will have to check when I get home....
Either way, thanks for the help guys!! 3/8/2006 5:20:16 PM |

Use metal standoffs. They support the weight better. This can be very important if you have a large heatsink. 3/9/2006 12:10:23 PM |
