2 juvenile central american boas, likely to be 1.5 years old, but I am not for sure...I took these two from a lady who was having trouble finding mice to feed her collection, and they are just odd balls in my snake collection.
i believe this one is the male, although i am uncertain
and this is the female supposedly
I would like 70 for the both of them, and I dont want to split them up...I paid 50 each and I just want to get these guys to a good home where someone can spend more time with them than i could...
they are mild tempered, the darker one seems to be a little more aggressive, but Ive never been bitten by either. 3/15/2006 11:20:10 AM |

right now they are 20" or so....avg adult size ranges from 4.5 to 7.5 ft, which is a small boa constrictor
i would want 45 ea if i split them up
[Edited on March 15, 2006 at 4:50 PM. Reason : 7 ft not 8]

c'mon Peyton, you know the girls get bigger than that
man this is tempting, if they were larger I would but I'm not trying to raise any more little guys for 10+ years
Anyways how you been, oh and btw http://www.thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=394318

what type of pets do snakes make? I mean, do they have a personality? Hard to take care of? Do they do anything besides sit there and slither around?
Not bashing snakes, just never really understood why someone would want one as a pet.
Seeking understanding. 3/19/2006 3:26:23 PM |

^^ some people wouldn't like them, because they're not all cuddly like a cat or dog. they do have personalities, and are really low maintenance. well mine is (kenyan sand boa).. he's really chill, doesn't mind people petting him. doesn't like to be caught, so he tries to avoid that, but once you get him he happily circles around my fingers. don't get one unless you know how to take care of them, though; some can get huge, then people stop wanting them. 3/19/2006 8:36:54 PM |

boas and pythons stink...anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar
corn snakes are very common, easy to take care of, docile, and have no odor that i've ever noticed...at least not compared to my burmese or red tail 3/20/2006 12:05:57 AM |
