just curious what a good/average starting salary for an EE and a CPE degree in the Raleigh area is

i need to know what to negotiate for

Are you working in your field?
How are the benefits

I would say ~55 but you should check salary.com

talked to these guys when we were in silicon valley: http://www.rosum.com/
put that in the saber

pair that with some portable transmitters to light up a building and you can easily track the saber through a building

Salary.com says that I, as an entry-level Nuclear Engineer in Raleigh, would make between 55k and 65k, with the median being at ~$61,000/yr

but I don't plan on staying in Raleigh

you dont want vc funding till you have some cashflow
just bootstrap it and get some angel investors
