Because it is in my room and my room is to small. A friend of mine gave her to me because her appartment wouldnt let her keep it. So i am trying to get her a better home where she has more room to run around. 3/20/2006 7:59:02 PM |

Even though she may not be with you for long, please block her off from your computer wires. She could eat all of them which is really bad for her and very expensive for you. For more info on caring for rabbits and rabbit behavior, visit http://www.rabbit.org.
Also, she should be spayed ASAP. This will keep her from acting too much like a teenager (hormones, digging, etc.) and keep her from getting pregnant if she encounters a male bunny. Dixie Trail Animal Clinichttp://www.realpagessites.com/dixietrailanimalclinic/page6.html or Avian and Exotic Animal Care are good places to go. I would go to Avian first because they handle more rabbits and will do a great job.http://www.avianandexotic.com/

I know she shouldn't chew wires, I dont let her. I just put her in my chair to take pictures. She has an area blocked off that she can run and play in. 3/20/2006 9:18:52 PM |

I actually like the bunny because she has been a good pet so I would like her to have a good home and not be food for someones pet. 3/21/2006 1:01:56 AM |

she's a nice looking harlequin (color pattern) and she looks more like a standard rex from the pictures. - just means she'll be bigger at maturity.
you could try contacting a local 4h rabbit club. i'm sure someone would be interested in her. or post her on craiglist. that way she might end up in a family with children who would dote on her more.
i used to breed standard and mini rex's. they are good rabbits. i'd love to take her but i have 4 dogs and these guys havent been exposed to rabbits.
