Right.

Funny, I remember using this same line in 2002 after the UConn loss and flaming out against Duke in the ACC Tourney finals. And then again in 2003 when we flamed out again against Duke in the ACC Tourney finals and got bumped by Cal in the first round. And again in 2004 when we gave up a 30 point halftime lead to Maryland in the ACC tourney and then got bumped in the second round by Vanderbilt. Or 2005 when we had a losing ACC conference record, got bounced by Duke in the second round and made Herb's first Sweet 16 in 9 year. And once again, a post-season of underacheivement, only matched by the abysmal record versus our rivals and a schedule full of wins supported by cupcakes.

But hey, next year will be better. Maybe we will just break even with Wake Forest instead of going 1-2, and maybe we can keep it within 15 of UNC in our house. And maybe we can be a 9 seed, you know gradual progress up from a 10, and only lose in the second round by 12 instead of 21.

Baby steps folks, baby steps. Lord knows you can't rush a man making a cool million a year in his eleventh season as HC.
