You are dumb if you don't think ideas, opinions, etc float across ALL wolfpack boards. I give credit atleast.

Started here on TWW and found statefans through here, which then turned into packpride. Different atmosphere, but same topics of interests. Funny that you're calling me out on this. But check it...I gave credit where it was rightfully due. There's two instances, well one i'm sure of, where I've been paraphrased w/o credit from one site to the other, and vice versa.

^the difference is, 80 percent of the users on TWW are bored students with nothing better to do than start arguments. You cant put those opinions on a message board full of serious people. Plus, you get suspended for trolling over there, and its not only accepted over here, but aparently encouraged.


A lot of the views on this site are NOT representative of true NC State fans. If they read it, they think we're stupid, when its more just boredom. If you dont understand this, you need to stop posting on both sites, because you're ruining it for everyone.

Been posting on both for years now, when ppride was still statefans, so please. Oh yeah I already knew what you're talking about wolfAApack. gf8ce and gface, not too elusive or deceptive there is it? Anyways, I'm making a point about this long drawnout mediocrity that's killing the expectations of our new fans and someone tries to call me out - bashing state students? right, good one. Who got suspended, and for what?

Oh and last sentence of superdude's post is: old boosters have more right to complain than anyone else. Fine. And my opinion is that it's disappointing to see new fans with such low expectations. But that explains to me somewhat the acceptance of Herb's "success". Granted it is less serious here, but I've managed to remain rational so no prob.

stop acting like he was consistently as good a coach as sloan, k, smith, roy, calhoun, boeheim, wooden, lute olsen, bob knight, i could go on...

hes not gonna go down as one of the best coaches ever. this isnt a pro-herb argument, more like a "put things in perspective" argument.

Not so much pro-herb, more like put back in perspective, I agree. With Valvano, I would say that he was even more appreciated after he left. Atleast w/V here, we held our own. 7-18 vs Dean. 14-9 vs K. Those are the numbers, take it how you want.

Main thing is this: High expectations as compared to now. Arguably, we were 2nd in ACC only next to carolina. V had concrete, undebatable success. ACC reg season, got it. ACCT, two. S16, yes. Elite 8, twice. National Champions, 83. Comparing this to Herb's lone S16 explains why NCSU bball has stagnated. Watching V and Les, any game was winnable. The energy in Reynolds electrifying. Fast forward to Herbball and it just isn't the same.

Been sitting on the fence since 2001. But c'mon now, it's been 10 years. S16 and 8-38 vs Triangle. Disappointing. And to add insult to injury, we have internal mayhem in fanbase. We all want what's best for State. (my allegiance is State before Herb) Do we keep him or change? I'm taking my chances on change.

I think people who understand the audience of both boards can do fine with both. I have 1000s of posts on both boards...I'm a recent alum so I can still try and relate on this board but I'm also LTR hold, alumni assoc, etc so I can relate over there.

Some issue cross over but when I have information or question I bring it to whichever board is appriopriate.
