So today's technician had the front page story about the film class and the holocaust survivor. Is the actually class Film of the Holocaust or was it just a topic in a general film studies class? If it is in fact a Holocaust class, what is its code in tracs??

the 492 classes change every semester depending on what the professor wants to teach. they are listed as "special topics in film" in TRACS. 3/23/2006 12:08:29 AM |

but as long as you get Gomez or Orgeron teaching it, you can pretty much rest assured it'll be an awesome experience 3/23/2006 12:10:36 AM |

Incorrect.
The class is ENG 585B - Films of the Holocaust. It is a graduate level course, though everyone was invited to attend last night's lecture (I did).
If you would like so sign up for an undergrad course, next semester Dr. Gomez is offering ENG 492B - Film in History, where students will analyze how films about war related to the times in which they were made. You can also sign up for Dr. Orgeron's ENG 492A - American Directors. 3/23/2006 3:01:38 AM |
