Speaking for the lab program, the lab directors don't really mind if students team up to help each other with the prelab, in-lab, and post-lab. You're teaching each other or figuring it out together, and that's fine with Dr. Hendrickson and I. However, we do object to just giving one another the answers, without any sort of explanation or thought. Although not always on the same schedule, the lab and lecture are meant to compliment one another and reinforce basic concepts. In theory, a fair portion of what you learn in the lab is applicable to the lecture and hopefully improves your test scores.

Good point. Your partner is the prefect person to team up with.

However, if that doesn't work, try to start your postlabs earlier in the day when the walk-in center is open or when you can visit SI for assistance. If you've got to take more chemistry, you might as well start developing a system now to start learning the material and answering the WebAss, especially before you hit the 200-level stuff. Welcome to chemistry at NCSU.
