The Office Tavern is hiring. I've worked there for the past 8 months and am moving on. I recently graduated this December and have found a job. The owner is awesome & I would like to help him fill the position. The hours are great. I worked 3 days a week. Either M,W,F or T,TH,S. Go in at 4pm and work till close- which is whenever the crowd dies down (10/11pm on weekdays). Really easy- the bar only serves bottled & canned beer. I really enjoyed my job here.

The customer base is more than 80% men. No.... noone is going to get gropped. I was fully respected there. I always felt comfortable. It is a safe place to work.

bttt. The customers are all very nice people. This is a dive bar so the atmosphere may not be up to par for some people but I can assure you it is safe & a lot of fun. A "regular" (someone I've known for the past 8 months) will wait with me until I close down the bar & see that I get in my car safe.... just because it is downtown. This is a dog friendly bar. You can play pool while working (if slow).

worst bar in raleigh. ive never seen more than 5 people in there, it only serves cheap brands of beer, shirts sketchy and dirty, etc.

True the bar does not get packed! But this is the nice thing about it. I still make a lot of money & I am not really busy (except Friday night). There is good pay plus tips and you will leave with 80-$150 for a 6hr shift.

An answer to a PM- Responsibilites include serving beer, emptying ash trays, wiping down the bar,then setting the alarm & locking the door at closing time. Really easy... thats it! No cash register, only cash till. Must make change in your head. No Cleaning or anything involved. Cleaning guy come in the AM . Come see me tommorow night (Fri) on my last night~ 4pm- close

The Office Tavern is a pretty good place. I delivered an aquarium down there expecting to walk in and out but ended up staying for awhile. Like she said its an older crowd but everyone was cool even buying me beers. Looked like a great place to work.
