My friends and I spent about 10 hours editing a 1 minute clip using Windows Movie Maker, and we want to import it into Final Cut Pro.

However, it won't export into a format that Final Cut will accept. We tried DV-AVI (NTSC) but it refuses to work right.

I think Adobe Premiere should be able to convert it to a MPEG-4/2, but I don't know anyone that has that software.

Any suggestions?

i've never used final cut pro or windows movie maker for that matter to make any clips of significant value, but just find a wmv to avi or wmv to mpg converter if it's not working.

http://www.videohelp.com should be a good place to get started
