I've been sick this weekend so I've been watching this a ton.

New favorite episode: THE FINAL SACRIFICE aka Rowsdower, Zap Rowsdower

"It's Geddy Lee's childhood home!"

the short "The Truck Farmer" is comic gold.

"These carrots will be taken back to the fields and put into the ground, the process makes no sense, really."

ive got just about 70 different shows in divx/mpeg ect
there was one i could never find and its the one that got me hooked. called "The Blood beast" i think.
Deathstalker is a good one too. But by far my favorite is "The Bloodwaters of Doctor Z" They pull out all the stops.

Anyone have any preferences as to whom they like better, Mike or Joel?

I like mike. Joel created the whole thing ect ect, but he's just so dull for some reason....fucking depressing

Some of my favorite host segments:

Where, Oh Werewolf
I sing of the glorious Delta Knights
... I know!
Mike Nelson IS... LORD OF THE DANCE
The Canada Song
Pearl and Brain Guy singing on PPTV
A Patrick Swayze Christmas

Some of my favorite shorts:

Hired!
A Case of Spring Fever
Once Upon a Honeymoon
Keeping Clean and Neat
Catching Trouble
Mr. B Natural
The bread delivery guy one (can't remember the name)

BTW, I think Mike riffs a little better, but he was head writer most of the show, right?

I like Joel a little better for host segments. He was a lot more philosophical.

Today I threw out my MST3K collection. It was sad. They had all kinds of those snarky commercials from comedy central in the 90's. The tapes were stored in a basement for some time, they got some kind of dust/mold or something on them so they could no longer be played. I had 2 full boxes of tapes

I've burned and deleted maybe a third of my downloads. Now all my discs are going bad. I don't think CDs stored on a spindle last any longer than VHSes

^ really? How long does it take for CDs to go bad in your experience? I'm planning to back up my computer soon and I'd like to think it'll last a while.

^^^ maybe some day, right now I don't have time for such recreation. Good grief, I shouldn't be doing this now...

^^^^ ya it certainly does. I've known they are messed up for 3 years, I've been hoping to stumble into some way of fixing them, but I gave up, it's just one more thing to haul to the next place. I found out they were bad in the most annoying way. I just met a new friend and we were sitting around and he said he'd like to watch some bad movies. So I was like, let me hook you up. Went upstairs found my stash and then nothing but some distorted audio...
