Web-savvy Customer Service Reps
We are looking for a few good customer service representatives who are creative, hard working, computer savvy, self directed and resourceful. The ideal candidate will also be meticulous in his or her work and have some technical experience. Customer Service reps provide Lulu customers with assistance in the creation process and troubleshoot orders that have gone astray. For the ideal candidate, this job could evolve into a position of great reward and fulfillment. Are you interested?
Email your resume to jobs@lulu.com and use "Customer Service" for the subject. These positions start at $8/hr, but there is potential to move up in the company. Please let us know about your technical experience (i.e., use of the internet, blogs, IM). Great opportunity for Computer Science/IT students who need to gain work experience.
Founded in 2002, Lulu is the web's premier independent publishing marketplace for digital do-it-yourselfers. It's the only place on the web where you can publish, sell and buy any and all things digital — books, music, comics, photographs, movies and well, you get the idea. We simply provide the tools that leave control of content in the hands of the people who created the content. Thanks! Just to be clear, this is a technical customer service position. Most of your work would come in the form of emails or online chat. We also have community message boards/blogs for help purposes. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative and creative company. 3/27/2006 4:18:38 PM |

True, $8/hr to start isn't that much. However, we frequently promote from within and if you can do a good job in customer service you could move up... hence the "great reward and fulfillment." Also, we typcially have a 30 day review where you can up your salary while staying in the customer service role. No promises, though! I know there are some bloggers out there who would love to get paid $8/hr to chat and IM all day... 3/27/2006 6:08:48 PM |

I'm interested. I'm in desperate need of a job, and have a good amount of IT knowledge. Most of my knowledge is about PC hardware, but I have a general amount of knowledge about Linux and the OSS world. 3/27/2006 10:40:23 PM |
