$400/month plus 1/3 utilities (averages $75- $120/month depending on usage)
hi-speed road runner internet (wireless), cable with DVR - hookup in bedroom
would prefer female but consider male. non-smoker preferred (smoke outside ok), no drugs please, must be considerate of others, Responsible, not petty, clean up after yourself, wont throw wild parties (we have an anal neighbor), but you're welcome to come home drunk, must pay rent and bills on time, and must Love Animals. 
About the house: Its a LARGE split level house. off of Lake Wheeler Rd , which is off of Tryon Rd. Right near the 440/40 exit 297.
3 bedrooms, 3 baths, large eat in kitchen, large living room with fireplace, huge back deck complete
with strung lights, tiki torches, a swing, and picnic table, fairly good sized fenced in back yard and nice front yard (which will soon have flower beds). Mixed neighborhood. Mostly families and adults, a few scattered college students. But peaceful.
The bedroom available is the largest in the house. Very big. plenty of room for a king sized bed and tons of furniture. Your own bathroom. large closet. and nice window that overlooks the back deck and backyard.
The whole house is furnished sans the bedroom. but if you have furniture we are willing to switch some out.. we're flexible.
There is also a storage shed out back.
The landlord is awesome. (as long as you send your rent in on time)
You will have to sign a lease.
About us:
I'm 23 yrs old female. I'm in grad school at NC State. I work on campus during the week. I also
bartend a few nights a week. I volunteer working with exotic cats and also volunteer/foster for an animal rescue organization. I have a boyfriend who does stay over some nights. but he doesnt live there. He's charming and is handy around the house  . he's also a great cook. I'm pretty busy. I'm mellow, easy-going, and am considerate. I have a big heart and my only downfall is taking in stray animals.
My roommate:
25 yr old single female. She is a nursing student at Wake Tech. She also bartends at another sports bar. we've been best friends for almost 6 yrs and she's the sweetest, most considerate, amazing friend and roommate i've ever had. She's quiet in the house and cleans alot and will do anything for ya.
we are both non-smokers, drug free, dont party alot- rarely entertain at home, we will plan the occasional get together but make sure its ok with all roommates before . we do both come in late some nights due to bartending. we try to be as quiet as possible. we are both clean, not neat freaks but run the vacumn a few times/week,dust, sweep, clean up after ourselves, wash dishes, etc...
we both love movies and own probably 300 between us.
pets are definitely allowed here. in fact i have 4 dogs and roommate has a cat. I also have a fish tank, green iguana, 2 bearded dragons, and 3 leopard geckos. The reptiles stay in their cages and are in a spare room adjacent to my bedroom ( on the bottom floor). all animals are well-taken care of and spoiled rotten.
the dogs have their own room. its the laundry room and theres a back door leading into the fenced in yard. they are kept in their "room" when i'm not home. I come home frequently during the day to let them out and play. Its on the bottom floor.

I'm interested but would I be able to see if my dogs could get along with yours first? And also the cats, because he's never been around them. I have a german sh./lab/hound mix, and no, I don't know how that happened, har har. You can PM me if you want an AOL name or email 3/28/2006 8:41:49 PM |
