I'm still waiting to see in what year the "Look at the program he took over" excuse is no longer valid. I mean, it's not valid anymore... but some still use it. In year 25, it'll be interesting to see if it still pops up every now and then

State can't do any better than Herb? Shit, State can't do any worse than Herb. A sub .500 record in the ACC, 8-38 against our chief rivals, 5-5 overall tourney record, no championships of any kind...who cares if we've been to 5 straight tourneys. We're the only school out of the 16 who have made it in the last 5 years that hasn't either won their conference championship or been to the Elite 8.

Herb's offense is boring and predictable, he refuses to adjust, and he's a terrible game coach.

Who is to say who will or will not come here? The job isn't open. But those who think that we can't do any better than Herb have no idea what they are talking about.

Here's a fun little fact for ya...Les Robinson had as many wins against dook and uncch as herb does.

The despair surrounding the program is as great now as it was during the Les Robinson years. Being slightly better than average while being told that constantly fielding a C+ caliber team is the best State can ever hope for just goes to show that you have no clue with regards to State's tradition.
