I know that this is a long shot, but my girlfriend is going to be in Wilmington for the summer working. She is looking to lease/sub-lease a furnished (most important aspect) place from the middle of May until the first week in August. She wants to live with other girls, but doesn't care how many are there. She would like to keep the rent and utilities under $500. If anyone has anything or knows of anything, I would appreciate it.

I know of an unfurnished loft available for that price, but I guess that doesn't help much. There aren't all that many funished apts in Wilmington. Her best bet would be to do a short time lease at the Campus Edge. http://www.campusedge.org/ It is UNCW's equivilant of Lake Park. My bf lived there for 2 years, and although I never felt unsafe, there were an awful lot of bail bondsmen running around.
