i have a $600 corbin seat on my magna that is starting to fade and show small cracks, but i don't know of any leather conditioner that doesn't leave a slick residue behind. i need to do something about it soon, any suggestions?

Poorboys Leather Stuff- no greasy residue, a bit of that slippery feeling left behind... simply buff it again a few hours later and that slick feeling should dissapate enough so you won't notice it. I actually like that slick feeling.. makes getting in and out of the car easier and maybe aids in your body/clothing not catching on the leather and thusly wearing down less.

Also, give Zaino Leather in a Bottle a go.. sweet sweet leather smell that last for a quite a while.. also many people regard Zaino as the best detailing line there is....

I will say that I exclusively use Poorboys Leather Stuff on all the cars I detail since it has some cleaners in it.. and conditions so well. Its also good for vinyl. I'd give it a cleaning power of about 3 out of 5.

I think maybe I've exagerrated the slickness factor.. its not that slick... Granted, dirty leather will grip you much more than "clean" and conditioned leather, however, its not going to let you slip off the seat.

And like the other guy said, Leatherique is absolutely top notch stuff, smells a bit better too if that matters at all.

So I'd suggest that or Z-10 (Zaino). Neither is all that cheap, but for a $600 seat, its worth it.

i tried the non greasy mother stuff and it worked fairly well, but its gonna take a few more applications to really soften it up, i'm gonna work on the drivers backrest i have in the house
