C.) I am slammed to the hilt.

Just finished doing front strut cartridges and springs on a '91 MR2 Turbo. I still have to do the rears, a clutch, and a timing belt job...all on this car.

Got a '78 Datsun 280Z waiting for a new water pump...but the bolts are so corroded that three of them snapped off--EASILY. Two of these go all the way through the timing cover into the block.

I still haven't replaced the fuel pump on my own truck. I need to replace the driver's side door hinge pins, do a valve adjustment, and swap out the fuel filter.

And I haven't TOUCHED the Teg for weeks.

It's gonna be the beginning of next week. I'll be glad to do it Monday or Tuesday night, but that's the earliest I can even think about doing it. Let me know.

D.)

If you can do it cheaper than Midas (which I believe) and some time in April you are the man.

I'd so much rather have somene with a good rep under my hood as opposed to someone I know nothing about.

The start of next week is perfect for me if it works for you. Can you PM me your number?

Thanks again man.

The inspection is up at the end of March so I need to get this done sooner than later.

I need ceramic f/r brake pads put in on my '94 3000GT. I know Dan's been pretty busy, so if anyone can do it, hit me up with a PM of the labor estimate.

EGR valve should be an easy replacement.

Unfortunately I can't find anywhere that sells an EGR valve for a 1997 Saturn SL2 for less than $120.

That sounds about right. As a matter of fact, I think it sounds pretty damn cheap.

The thing doesn't look like it should cost no $120!

Someone told me they thought it would be < $50. Maybe they know something I don't though.

^ List on the OEM version is only $145. If someplace wanted $170 I sure wouldn't buy parts from them. $125-130 should be the going rate

If it was an EGR valve for an '89 Corsica, then it might be around 50 dolla.

All new stuff (especially OBDII) has electronic control and feedback and therefore costs $texas.

^^ i wasnt talkin about his specific part. i said the last one I priced, meaning for MY car. I just said it to give him a frame of reference, especially when he says:

The OBDII explaination makes sense now. I mean, my car knows now that it's having issues with the current EGR.

I'd never have known because my car still drives just fine.

Okie, gotta find out if my schedule and BigBlueRam's schedule work for me to get this done.
