I'm looking to buy a car soon...by the start of fall semester, and preferably much sooner. <$3K
if it "needs work", please tell me exactly what it needs, and i'll see if it's something my dad will agree to take care of. I'm also not at all interested in SUVs, and for the most part, also not interested in trucks. 3/31/2006 12:14:52 PM |

eh
I'm willing to learn a stick if the price justifies it My main reason for not wanting a truck was mileage...and that's really on the low end of what I would consider ] 4/6/2006 8:15:21 PM |

well i'm asking a little over a grand
let me know if youre interested
its mechanically sound just not cosmetically so, which is why the low price
and a 19-gallon tank gets you almost 500 miles 4/7/2006 2:02:14 PM |

<-- doesn't care about pretty cars
you're making this too damn easy, seeing as how my only reason for not getting a truck is mileage 4/7/2006 2:39:05 PM |

I have a car my friend is suppose to buy off of me but is taking too long. it's a 1992 chevy lumina... needs to have the transmission looked at possibly, but still runs decent. I had it sitting inactive for 6 months, so i need to make sure that the battery can hold a charge also. but, chevy's are really reliable, there's plenty of room in it, there isn't any real damage to the interior (or exterior for that matter) orther than the carpet on the back windshield being a little messed up because it's old). $400. my friend was gonna buy it for $500, but I just want to get it off the lot now. pm me if you are interested. 4/7/2006 3:33:22 PM |

^^noted.
^i'm thinking that's probably a no-go. now that my parents have internet again, i can actually communicate with my dad without having to be awake at 4am!!!
if your car is a stick, i hope you haven't fucked it up too bad, as i'll be learning to drive a stick in this car (seeing as how the only other two cars that i could ostensibly learn on are also pieces of shit, and moreso than what I would end up buying)
