yeah.. you can.. don't do it though

it's ridiculously frustrating because you can't send mail through the imap server, you can only view it

... although you might be able to do it if you're directly connected to the campus network???

outgoing smtp server: smtp.ncsu.edu
use TLS

Just use the outgoing for your internet connection...like RR.

you can only use smtp if you're on campus - or at least that's how it was when i lived there

haven't given a rat's ass about my ncsu account since...never actually.

actually, you can use authenticated smtp from college inn or anywhere else for that matter.
