I am buying a car from an individual seller and would like to know the procedures to get the title transferred etc
ie what needs to be done once ive decided to purchase and he has decided to sell,whats next and how please.

have the owner sign the title over to you in front of a notary. the notary will stamp a seal on it to legalize the transfer. take the title and bill of sale to dmv. a bill of sale doesn't have to be fancy. it just has to state that you are purchasing said vehicle from seller for said amount on said date and both of y'all sign it.
