Wanna bet? I am a Carolina grad (class of 83). dook got lucky with K. Before he arrived, dook had the 4th best program in NC. dook plays in a dump because it doesn't have the alumni support to build a bigger arena. dook's average football attendance is sometimes less than the capacity of NC State's basketball arena. The infrastructure is there for State to reemerge as a national power. Barnes may stay at Texas, and that would be a good thing for State - they can do better than Barnes.

Well if that were the case, we wouldn't have run Sendek out of town. We feel like we have the tallent to be there right now, but not the coach. Its funny, cause if the next coach can put together one or two good recruiting classes to top off what we have here now, and do a little coaching to boot, we might be closer than Texas.
