Well, it seems that 2 of my 4 coilpacks on the jetta went out last nite / this morning. Here's to hoping that at least one of the VW dealerships will be nice and cover it although my car is heavily modded. (I'm not sure what kind of mods they could pin the blame on for the coilpacks going out)
Also, coilpacks have always been an issue in the MkIV's, so they may be a bit more understanding. 4/2/2006 11:42:09 PM |

were you careful with coilpacks when you changed the plugs last time? 4/3/2006 10:38:14 AM |

as soon as they see that front mount, you're warranty is pretty much gone. 4/3/2006 10:38:57 AM |

well, i called leith this morning and asked to talked to the service manager. i told him my problem and that my car was modded. he asked what all was modded and then i told him.
he just said "well, none of that would cause the coilpacks to go out. bring it down here and we'll take care of it" 4/3/2006 11:25:33 AM |
