well...when I first saw the 'Herb going to ASU' things I assumed it was App State or something because every time I refer to Arizona State as ASU to anyone one here, they assume I mean App State, but now that I know that it is indeed the Scum Devils, I look forward to making fun of Herb next season. So any and all 'inside joke' type shit you could give me would be highly appreciated.

Does anyone know for a fact what Herbs new contract with ASU is worth? I heard 1.3 million originally, but some guy is telling me its still less than a million, and I just dont buy that Sendek was that ready to get out of dodge....I think the money definitely weighed in.

^I don't think Herb wanted to leave State that much either. But ASU threw that money at him (I've heard 1.3 to 1.5 mil) and he said, "I could be making twice my salary at a school where people want me there and aren't dumb fucking rednecks harassing me and my family on a consistent basis."

so not to be a downer here but look at whats happened post hiring for both schools

asu- gains two huge players in shipp and boateng (regardless of how they pan out, its a momentum builder)

state- loses its arguably best recruit
