I have a 4 cylinder mazda 626 and I'm trying to change out my spark plugs. Although I managed to get the two outer plugs out, I can't get the inner two passed about half-way.
any tips on removing them? I've tried wd-40, but that didn't do a damn thing.
i'm thinking of calling AAA to come out and do it for me, unless you think I can run the car on two plugs to the nearest garage.
oh yeah... and I cracked the ceramic trying to remove the two stubborn spark plugs so I don't think I can just screw those two back in. 4/3/2006 10:33:22 PM |

You need to practically load up those two plugs with WD40 or PB B'laster. Let 'em soak for a few minutes, and then screw them back in. Let sit a minute or two, and unscrew again. See if they'll go a little further GENTLY so as not to mess up threads.
Where the hell you at, anyway? 4/3/2006 10:54:06 PM |

whatever you do, don't just force them out. that will mess up the threads and cause more problems than you want to deal with. 4/4/2006 3:12:35 PM |

Sounds like your sparkplugs and pregnant women have something in common... 4/4/2006 4:12:39 PM |
