3" on NA = gay
it hanging down 6" below bumper = gay

way to waste money on a useless exhaust.

"This dyno confirms what SCC found in 1999 when they made a whoppin' 15RWHP with the Apex'i N1 (3") exhaust on a S14... that turbo-sized exhaust systems really make a huge amount of power on the KA. There were NO losses throughout the entire powerband; from 5000-7000RPM there were 10-15RWHP gains! This confirms the notion that the KA needs to improve its breathing in order to make power... almost an exaggeration of that notion!"

It is widely known fact in the 240sx world that 3" exhaust on an NA KA24DE (the factory engine here in USA) gains power all across the powerband.

But yes, I agree on it looking kind of weird hanging so low and far out the rear. It's slowly growing on me. I would have preferred the up-angled, not-so-long-tipped muffler, but I got it for a very good price.

Yeah... try to angle it up a bit more.

On that note, I tried my bike with just a straight pipe. Loud and very ricey sound. So if you seen a black F2 sounding like a ricer, don't hate cause tomorrow puttin the muffler back on.

The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that it sort of hangs there all limp and shit. If it were angled up more it would be better. Crazy gains btw.

My brother has 3" dual N1's on his 240 and I can tell a difference on his car. But yeah, see if a muffler shop can bend that for you or just hit it with a hammer.

Of course, one of my chrome tips fell off the Z32 last week and I had to patch the hole just so the damn noise would go away.

I got it for a fraction of the cost of a new exhaust.. better than $10/hp, going by the "15hp" gain

Ooh it's about the purdiest lil exhaust I ever did see

Which modification will do that for your car, and is it whp or crank that you're talking about?

take it to a shop and have them cut off some and mount it further back....and get some shorter hangers, unless the whole thing sits that low

did you really just brag about less than 140 whp? making a slow car faster doesn't be come admirable until you actually make it fast

i think if u just cut some off the very end it's look a ton better. (like 2 or 3 inches off the part that sticks past the actual muffler)

^^I'll whup your maxima!

omg i must be faster with turbooo so i can impress the Garage guys!

Who's braggin' about hp output or being fast here? no one. I'll be the first to tell you my shit's slow. I'm braggin' about my approach and departure angles.

I'm not going to bend/hack-up a perfectly good mandrel-bent exhaust (muffler shop or not).. but I might cut some of the tip off in the future.

i didn't say anything about speed - it just looks too big for the car - and way too ricerific

there is a point where the presentation outweighs the gain in hp

Nice gains. Though, I would agree with everyone that it does look a little overdone...

Of course, who am I to speak? Hahaha, I just threw a huge ricer wing on a few months ago
